Steering Knuckle

Maximum strength combined with very high strain render forged aluminum the ideal material for safety-relevant components that also need to be lightweight – a perfect combination for unsprung masses on the front axle. Hirschvogel forges aluminum steering knuckles and wheel carriers for premium vehicles from various automotive manufacturers. The steering knuckles are used in McPherson-type axles, double wishbone front axles and other multi-link front axles with split lower and upper control arm. The steering knuckles are developed in close cooperation with our customers, and we can also take on design responsibility if required.
