On Hirschvogel’s path to sustainability, the following top fields of action have been developed:

 

  • Strengthening occupational health & safety

  • Decarbonizing the entire value-adding chain

  • Increasing material & resource utilization

  • Supporting and advancing employees

  • Designing sustainable products and production technologies

  • Reporting

  • Complying with due diligence obligations

Five of the topics result from the materiality analysis and were identified by means of a stakeholder survey.

In addition, there is the top field of action “Complying with due diligence obligations”, which is gaining in importance with the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG) and future European legislation.

We are also adopting a professional, transparent reporting approach.

Our top fields of action are in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Our Sustainability Report outlines how we have set the course in 2022 to develop Hirschvogel into a sustainable company that lives up to its responsibility towards the environment, society, its business partners, and the workforce.
